Food Review: Binary At Palais Renaissance | Chic Gastrobar Restaurant In Orchard Road With East Meets West Cuisine

The Place Located in the Palais Renaissance shopping mall, I checked out the newly opened Binary, a new 45-seater gastro-bar with an alfresco terrace and edgy indoor dining interior. Other than bar seats and regular tables, there is also a semi-private room. The binary ideology of the restaurant is primarily built on offering two distinct flavours of Asian and Western cuisine on its menu.  Image Credit: Binary The Food The drinks menu is extensive with over 60 wine labels along with their signature cocktails, craft beers and sakes. The food menu showcases dishes from two culinary approaches or you can enjoy both styles on the same plate, with the idea of sharing plates. There are six categories on the menu: Bread & Chips, Small Plates, Kebabs, Mains, On the Side, and Desserts.  I started with the Homemade Kubaneh Bread (S$14) served with Garlic Butter & Kombu Butter. My first time having Kubaneh, which is a Jewish Yemeni pull-apart bread. The bread is soft and fluffy, and buttery enough on its own. Spread it with the accompanying butter, it is so good!
