The Place Located at the rooftop level of OUE Bayfront on Collyer Quay, VUE is OUE Dining latest F&B concept which took over the space of the now defunct ME@OUE restaurant. I was literally blown away when I walked through the grand walkway entrance of the restaurant which showcases its beautiful collection of wines, before being greeted by the outdoor bar with a sweeping view of Singapore’s skyline. The bar is a good place for some pre-dinner drinks, branded as Singapore’s first rooftop spritz bar. From 5pm to 7pm, spritz cocktails come with complimentary servings of canapés. The restaurant’s interior is amazing. The high arch ceiling makes the whole dining space like a sophisticated tunnel, where its interior light dances occasionally by changing colours, like aurora just to exaggerate a little. There is also one private dining room which boasts a great city view as well, elegantly designed and fitted for many types of occasions. The Food The binchotan-grilled dishes are one of the highlights at VUE and there isn’t any particular type of cuisine which I can pinpoint it to.
