The Place Located on level 70 of Swissotel The Stamford, the one year old Skai restaurant just launched its afternoon tea recently, Skai High Tea. Even though Skai is a contemporary grill concept, it does make sense for an afternoon tea menu here. Why waste that spectacular city view in the day? It is hard not to be impressed by Singapore’s skyline if it is your first time to Skai. I like the full glass panes, high ceiling and the fact that I can see the infinity pool of Marina Bay Sands at eye level. The Food The brand new Skai High Tea is a 3-tier affair, and it doesn’t come in the usual design. Priced at S$60++ per person, the savoury and sweet items are placed in a bonsai shaped stand, which is quite captivating. The price includes a choice of TWG Tea or Suzuki coffee, and I would recommend going for the tea as the list is specially curated to complement the high tea items.
