The Place I was casually chatting with H the other day and asked for dining recommendation in Bukit Timah. She mentioned Little Diner near Sixth Avenue, and I was surprised that I have never heard of this restaurant previously. The cosy restaurant has been around for a few years in this precinct, serving good old American style cuisine. It feels at home when I stepped into Little Diner, where you can come in your most comfy wear without being judged. The Food No pretense and honest food in generous portions, this is set out in Little Diner’s website and I must say that they have stayed true to their food motto. The portions of what we ordered are generous for the price we paid, which I feel is pretty good value for money in today’s context. We started with the Wild Mushroom Soup (S$9) with Truffle Oil & Garlic Croutons, a hearty rendition which made us look forward to the rest of our mains.
