The Place One of my favourite go to places in Bangkok for a good casual meal is Jok Prince. Located in Chinatown area in Bangkok, it is a no-frills space where you can spot the huge pot to prepare the porridge at the entrance. Jok Price has been a Michelin Bib Gourmand spot in Bangkok for the past few years, which makes it an even more popular spot amongst tourists right now. I enjoyed watching the preparation of the porridge, where the ingredients like the pork meat balls are freshly prepared. The Food The menu is straightforward and I usually just for the Porridge with Pork Meat Balls, and add on the Fried Dough Fritters by the side. The porridge itself spots a nice and smooth texture, and I also recommend adding egg to it! You can also choose to add Century Egg if you fancy. The ‘wok hei’ and smokiness of the porridge is on point, and along with the to-die-for juicy meat balls and crispy fried you tiao, it is such a satisfying bowl of goodness.
