Food Scoops: Luce By Davide Giacomelli At InterContinental Singapore Launches New Italian Bistronomic Champagne Brunch Buffet

What’s Buzzing? Luce by Davide Giacomelli at InterContinental Singapore just launched an Italian Bistronomic Champagne Brunch with free-flow Seafood and Sashimi on Ice, live stations and live music every Sunday from 12pm to 3pm. I have previously visited the restaurant for dinner and revisited it recently for its new Sunday brunch buffet. What To Expect? Expect Cold Starters, Hot specialities, Pinsas, desserts and live stations such as roasting chestnuts over flaming firewood and freshly-made pasta delicately twirled inside a cheese wheel with the Mafaldine Cacio e Pepe in Parmesan Cheese Wheel.   There are various beverage package to choose from, where you can expect Taittinger Champagne or Italian Franciacorta, Aperol Spritz and selected Cocktails and Wines.  Our favourite station is the Seafood and Sashimi on Ice which features freshly shucked oysters, Boston lobster, snow crab leg, tuna sashimi and tiger prawns.   Another chef’s favourite is the Eggs a l’ Amatriciana featuring a sunny side up with a runny yolk in tomato sauce with pancetta and red onions.  A wide selection of imported cheese and cold cuts from Italy such as Grana Padano, Mozzarella, Taleggio, Mortadella, Cured Ham and Soppressata are also available.  Typically called “elephant ear” and the signature dish of Lombardy, [...]
