The Place Located in Bugis area along Middle Road, En Yakiniku is a two months old Japanese Yakiniku restaurant and sake bar by the same team behind the adjacent En Sushi. The space of En Yakiniku restaurant is decked in neon lights with a relatively dark theme and high ceiling, which makes it quite spacious visually. The Food The meats at En Yakiniku are mainly from Japan and the US, where the price range is quite wide too depending on which cut you go for. There is also a wide selection of side dishes and appetisers to go along with the sake bar concept. I started with the Chawanmushi (S$3.40), Fugu Mirin Boshi (S$15.40) and Eihire (S$8.40). It was my first time trying Fugu Mirin Boshi which is grilled dried pufferfish. Eihire is grilled dried stingray fin, both of which are meant to go well with sake or beer. For the meats, the best ones I had here is definitely the Miyazaki beef. The Miyazaki A4 Wagyu Ribeye [Shio / Tare] (S$54.90) is very well-marbled, leading it a very tender and flavourful profile.
