The Place Located right beside Homeground Coffee Roasters, the one week old C Cafe is more than just a game of cards. The contemporary looking cafe has some tricks up their sleeves, and you can feel that energy from the team whom co-founders are magic enthusiasts. In terms of seating capacity, it is quite decent for a cafe and there is a mix of bar height tables beside the entrance if you are alone, along with regular wooden tables for small groups. The Food The menu is a mix of toasts, avocado toast, waffle, salad and a couple of sides like spam fries and truffle fries. I managed to try a toast for breakfast, the Tasty Toasties which come in chicken, leg ham or smoked salmon. I had the Chicken (S$16) toasty, where the chicken breast meat is sandwiched in the crispy sourdough toast. The toast is spread with home-made herb, melted cheddar and mozzarella cheese. Overall, the flavour is not too bad and is a simple breakfast fix to enjoy. Coffee wise, I managed to try both the Long Black (S$6/8oz) and Flat White (S$6.50/8oz).
