The Place We visited the one month old Kai Garden at Marina Square last year end after trying some of its signature dishes like the Peking Duck (check out our previous review), and left fairly impressed with Chef Fung’s new restaurant. With his previous accolade as the Group Executive Chef of Paradise Group, I was excited to try the Dim Sum dishes at Kai Garden finally. Expectations are definitely high for me, as I used to frequent the now defunct Paradise Pavilion at Marina Bay Link Mall for dim sum. The Food I must say we were generally impressed with the dim sum standard at Kai garden across all the dishes we tried. If there is only one item you have to try, don’t leave without having the Pan-fried Charcoal Pork Bun ($6.80), packed with so much juice and a perfect skin texture which left us craving for more. Have you heard of fried Siew Mai?
