The Place A restaurant which has been around since 2002 is definitely something rare in Singapore’s F&B landscape. Les Bouchons Rive Gauche located at Robertson Quay is in fact the second outlet of the group, having opened in this precinct since 2006 – with the first Les Bouchons located at Ann Siang Hill. I am surprised that it took me so long to check out this French restaurant for the first time, when I dropped by the Robertson Quay outlet for Sunday brunch. Les Bouchons Rive Gauche at Robertson Quay is pretty casual in setting as it overlooks the river, with dining tables both indoor and outdoor. The Food It is the first time the restaurant has introduced a dedicated Sunday brunch menu, and the Bouchons Riviera Brunch is only available at the Roberson Quay branch every Sunday from 11:30am to 3:30pm. It is not a buffet concept, but there are about 30 items on the brunch menu which is newly curated by Head Chef Mickael Cornac. For a start, the Riviera Wellness Bowl ($S18) is a colourful presentation of granola, honey yoghurt, goji berries, banana, strawberries and chia seeds.
