The Place Located at the food basement of 313 Somerset, Sora Boru is the latest casual Japanese dining concept by K Group whom are behind other popular restaurants including Chir Chir Fusion Chicken Factory and Masizzim. At their latest concept, expect self-service ordering counters, coupled with self-collection of your orders. All these for a good cause to our own wallets, as the prices at Sora Boru are extremely competitive. The Food Expect casual Japanese fare including rice bowls, curry rice and noodles, although the main highlights for me are definitely the Beef Don and the Chirashi Don! My favourite at Sora Boru has to be their Snow Beef Don (S$7.50 Mini / S$11.90 Regular). Rice bowl topped with flame-grilled beef slices, grated parmesan and sweet-savoury sauce made from whipping cream. The tender and juicy meats makes this dish drool-worthy. This is preferred over the Volcano Beef Don (S$7.50 Mini / S$11.90 Regular), especially for folks whom may not be fond of a sweet spicy sauce.
