Food Review: Kurasu Singapore at Odeon Towers | Minimalist Kyoto Cafe at City Hall’s latest Co-working Space

The Place If you have been following the coffee scene in Singapore, Kurasu Singapore should be on your radar by now. Originally from Kyoto, this coffee brand recently opened at co-work space district6 in Odeon Towers along North Bridge Road, spotting a clean and woody minimalist look reminiscent of a cafe space in Tokyo or Kyoto. Located at level two, the zen vibes was unmistakable as we stepped out of the elevator, where we thought we stepped into a library instead. The Food There are no food on the menu per se, with a pure focus on coffee. We spotted a mix of beans from various countries on the menu, such as Indonesia, Ethiopia and Colombia. The signature here is the Matcha Latte, with other options such as pourovers and espresso. The Matcha Latte (S$6) is easily a natural favourite. The intense flavour of the matcha was evident, even though I found it a tad too sweet. Conversely, I enjoyed the Iced Latte (S$5) more.
