The Place Popular homegrown live seafood restaurant Yang Ming Seafood just opened at VivoCity, and it is the largest of their three outlets so far! I checked out their latest outlet Yang Ming Seafood Kelong @ VivoCity, which is also the brand’s first in-mall waterfront restaurant with a view of the sea, after its first in the old estate of Bishan and second in the industrial area of Ubi. My first impression is how big the space is. The interior of Yang Ming Seafood Kelong @ VivoCity takes on a kelong concept and seats up to 250 persons, with an in-house wine cellar with over 150 wine labels. As part of the kelong concept, you can expect traditional palisade fishing traps – complete with wooden floorboards, walls and beams, accented with fishnets, tanks and barrels in the restaurant. There is an ongoing promotion where you can make your reservations to enjoy offers of live seafood and wagyu beef dishes at 50% off on weekdays from 26 September to 31 October.
