Food Review: Four Points Eatery at Four Points by Sheraton | The former Riverview Hotel reopens at Roberston Quay

The Place Newly revamped after taking over the property from the now defunct Riverview Hotel at Robertson Quay, the Four Points by Sheraton did a good job in bringing modern touches to the relatively dated look of the earlier hotel. With the rebranding, the hotel also introduces two dining concepts here, an all-day dining restaurant Four Points Eatery and the live band bar The Best Brew. Both restaurants are located at the lobby of the hotel, with the other 2 long time dining establishments here, Irodori Japanese Restaurant and Imperial Restaurant still remaining at the property as well. The Food At Four Point Eatery, you get a selection from their a la carte menu or you can head for their Seafood Buffet spread served during both the Lunch and Dinner sessions. The restaurant is nicely renovated inside, complete with wooden finishing, with ample outdoor seatings to enjoy a meal by the Singapore River. We had both the Old Time Bak Kut Teh (S$22.80++) and the Slipper Lobster Laksa (S$20.80++) from the a la carte menu, both being their signature dishes here. The soup base for the Bak Kut Teh is the Teochew version, though not overly on the peppery side. Thumbs up [...]
