The Place Yishun is a destination dining spot if you are not staying in the north, and the newest opening in Yishun at Northpoint City is Yun Nans Stonepot Fish, a popular concept in Yunnan that opened its first overseas outpost in Singapore. Yun Nans Stonepot Fish is by Yunnan F&B chain, and the concept is famous for its collagen-rich fish soup that is pressure-steamed in a stone pot made of natural granite. This is also the first and only stonepot fish concept in Singapore to use live fish. The first thing I noticed about the interior of Yun Nans Stonepot Fish is the illusion of white clouds on its ceiling, where each table comes with its own stone pot. The interior is contemporary looking where the furniture are mainly earthly tones. The Food As its name suggests, the fish is the main highlight here where the restaurant uses sustainably sourced fishes from local farms.
