The Place Mention gourmet Nasi Lemak in Singapore and The Coconut Club is one brand which comes to my mind. Established since 2016, the popular restaurant has opened its new flagship on Beach Road this weekend as an all-day dining experience, and is now part of The Lo & Behold Group. Located in a three-storey conservation shophouse, a large communal table the level one space, which operates as the main all-day dining room. Level two doubles up as a more intimate dining space, where you can expect charcoal mural by local artist Aeropalmics on the walls, complete with rattan furniture and terrazzo. The Food Other than the namesake Nasi Lemak dish, expect a showcase of local and regional dishes on the new menu. The Coconut Club’s signature Nasi Lemak Sets will be served through lunch and dinner, where you can choose from the likes of the Ayam Goreng Berempah Set (S$18.80), Ikan Bakar Set (S$18.80) or Otah Set (S$10.80). All sets come with a serving of coconut rice, fried egg, anchovies, peanuts, cucumber, sambal.
