A western food stall in a coffeeshop in Ang Mo Kio Avenue 10 has been quietly making waves, and we mean big waves. Known as Fish & Chicks (cheeky name I know), it has been opened for a few months, with its best-selling item none other than the Salted Egg Yolk Fish and Chips. The queue can be notoriously bad, and we mean a waiting time of at least an hour. You first queue to place your order, before a further wait for your food. We visited on a weekend night, and our total waiting time was about 1 hours 15 minutes. By 7.45pm, the staff placed a SOLD OUT board. Go early if you are dying to try it.
