The Place Located near Kovan MRT, Cheng Kee Beef Kway Teow is tucked away in a coffeeshop which is easily overlooked given that Kovan Hawker Centre is nearby. This corner stall dishes out delicious beef noodles, and has been around in Kovan for decades. The Food There are plenty of options on the menu and you can choose from a variety of combinations such as beef meat, beef meatballs, tendon along with the type of noodles you prefer. I had the Mixed Beef Meat Bee Hoon (Dry, S$4) and given that it was a takeaway, the noodle travels well. I like that the dry version is not that dry, as there is still a thick layer of beef broth. The broth is flavourful, and you can pair it with some chilli and cincalok condiments for an added punch to the noodles. I also tried the Mixed Beef Meat Bee Hoon (Soup, S$4) which is really comforting. Comparatively, I somehow prefer the dry version as I like that slightly starchy texture on the dry noodles. The beef slices here are quite thin and relatively tender too. Rants The portion is relatively small. Will I Return Again?
