The Place Singaporeans love their prawn noodles. I have tried a couple of prawn noodles stalls over the past few months (Da Dong Prawn Noodles, Prawn & Mee) and Loyang Way Big Prawn Noodles has been on my to go list for a long time. I finally made time to check it out on Saturday, and the prawn mee stall is tucked away in a small food centre in the Loyang industrial area. I like the food centre for the ample tables and it is quite well-ventilated. The Food The Big Prawn Noodles is the signature dish here and it is available at S$5, S$7 or S$9. I went straight for the Big Prawn Noodles (S$5) and decided on the dry version where I get an additional bowl of soup. My first litmus test is always the soup, and the version here is very luscious. It spots a bright orange hue and the soup is full of umami. I can seriously just drink the soup for a meal.
