Food Review: Prawn & Mee At 216 Bedok Food Centre | Modern Prawn Noodles Hawker Stall In Bedok North

The Place Located in the famous Blk 216 Bedok Food Centre and Market, I walked past Prawn & Mee a few times previously and finally managed to try it during this circuit breaker period, albeit in a takeaway fashion. The prawn noodles stall is run by two young hawkers and the stall was previously a Japanese fusion concept called Plum & Rice. I personally find Japanese food a challenging concept to convince the demographics of hawker centres, especially so in a matured estate like Bedok. Prawn noodles, on the other hand, is much more relatable. The Food The menu is minimalist and choose from Prawn Noodle or Pork Ribs Prawn Noodle in dry or soup versions, at S$4/S$6/S$8. I had the S$6 Pork Ribs Prawn Noodle and the portion is just right for me, which comes with about two prawns and four pork ribs. The soup was packed separately from the noodles, which works best if you do not live nearby. Despite the journey home, the prawn noodles turned out pretty good.
