The Place Located at Bedok Central’s other hawker centre, Sin Ho has been famous for its Prawn Paste Chicken (aka ‘Har Cheong Gai’) and I was excited when a dinner party was organised there. Being a morning market, the hawker centre looks rather deserted during the evening. Although a walk to the back rows of the market, you will start noticing crowds gathering around the Sin Ho store – a sense of assurance swept in, as we uncovered another food gem. The Food Expect your daily zi-char fares, although Sin Ho operates as a fish soup store in the day, before it transpires to their evening menu with various seafood and fish based items. The first order of the day was the Crayfish Seafood Soup (S$15). With generous servings of crayfish, the clear seafood broth is a perfect dish to have with your orders here. You can order the soup with other ingredients, including Batang and Red Grouper, which I am sure would go well with the sweet seafood broth.
