The Place This is probably the most popular Japanese casual restaurant in Orchard Road. Koh Grill & Sushi Bar has been around at Wisma Atria Shopping Centre right beside Food Republic for many years. Spotting a snaking queue is not uncommon, especially when the space of the restaurant is not huge. I was excited to return to try the Shiok Maki, especially when my last visit was a few years ago. If you come in smaller groups, go for the counter seats which offers a good view of the action in the kitchen. The Food For a Japanese restaurant, the menu at Koh Grill is really extensive. There is a wide selection of sushi, sashimi, rice bowls and skewers. However, if it is your first time here, my take is to save space for the sushi, which is the specialisation of Koh Grill. If you only have space for one dish, this is it. The Shiok!!! Maki ($16.80) is the most famous dish on the menu and the single item which propelled Koh Grill & Sushi Bar to huge success.
