The Place I am not a frequent patron of Sembawang Hills Food Centre, hence it was an accidental discovery when I decided to have Bak Chor Mee (BCM) during my visit. Being a Teochew myself, I ended up queuing for the Teochew Minced Meat Noodle, a stall which has been around here for a few years run by an elderly couple. Sembawang Hills Food Centre is not huge, and each stall seems to have its own loyal customers. The queue for Teochew Minced Meat Noodle is not long, though you have to be patient as the food is mainly prepared by the uncle himself. One noteworthy mention is that the owner used to work in the One-Michelin Starred Hill Street Tai Hwa Pork Noodle, though I find it a surprise that the stall is pretty much still under the radar for many BCM lovers. The Food The cheapest option starts from S$4, though I opted for the S$5 ‘Mee Pok’ instead. For the price, the ingredients are quite generous.
