The Place Located at Duxton Road, I only found out about Mitsu Sushi Bar recently, even though it has been opened for slightly over six months. The 2-storeys Japanese restaurant spots a more intimate counter seat dining at level one where you can watch the chefs at work, while the setting of level 2 is the regular dining tables along with private tatami style dining. The Food Helmed by Japanese chefs, the menu at Mitsu Sushi Bar is primarily set menus and omakase options, along with seasonal menus. For its location and setting which leans towards the higher end scale, the prices are fairly reasonable. The lunch sets starts from S$18++, while dinner sets are priced from S$28++; very affordable. The dinner omakase starts from S$108++, which include an appetiser, sashimi, hot dish, sushi, soup and dessert. Most of their ingredients are air-flown from Japan 5 times a week, so you can be assured of its quality and freshness.
