Food Review: Rang Mahal at Pan Pacific Singapore | Chef Milind Sovani returns to Singapore, redefining Indian Cuisine again

The Place Located at Pan Pacific Singapore, the popular Indian restaurant Rang Mahal has on board award-winning Chef Milind Sovani whom was previously behind One Michelin-Starred Indian restaurant The Song of India. Established since 1971, Rang Mahal moved into its current location in 2001 and has since revamped itself twice in 2007 and 2012. One of the most recognised India restaurant in the country, I was excited to visit Rang Mahal again, having last visited here back in 2016 for its lunch buffet. Decked in darker tones, with a more refined proposition, you will have to walk into a dim alley from its main entrance before entering the restaurant’s main dining hall. The private room can accommodate up to 18 pax, with a lounge corner for pre-dinner drinks or after-dinner leisure chats. The Food To put it simply, Rang Mahal dishes out the finest of Indian cuisine, with much inspirations coming from French plating techniques, and a creative rethink of presenting traditional Indian food in whole new concept.
