Food Review: Sushi Muni At International Plaza | Value For Money Japanese Omakase In Tanjong Pagar From S$68++

The Place Tucked away on level two of International Plaza in Tanjong Pagar, Sushi Muni (無二) is a new and intimate Japanese omakase restaurant with only ten seats. It is a minimalist setting with just counter seating, helmed by Head Chef with a focus on traditional Edomae sushi featuring wet-aged fish.  The Food Only set menus are available with lunch sets from a good value S$68++ which includes seven pieces of sushi and more, while dinner is from S$168++.  Here is what to expect from the S$168++ dinner menu I had:  Amuse Bouche A duo of bites is showcased where I had Marinated Shiromi and caviar paired with an airy meringue, as well as a Chutoro Tart.  2 Seasonal Appetisers For the cold appetiser, I had a refreshing mix of fine thinly sliced Baby Sea Eel along with compressed watermelon and grated Japanese cucumber.  One of the current seasonal highlights is Ankimo (monkfish liver), prepared using Chef Chon’s secret milk-based technique.
