The Place Nestled in Tan Boon Liat Building at Havelock MRT Station on the TEL line, Angie’s Oyster Bar & Grill is a hidden gem in Singapore’s vibrant dining scene. The building itself, known for its blend of office and retail spaces, might not scream “destination dining,” but inside, Angie’s is a nice escape with its rustic sheltered outdoor seating and a cozier indoor dining ambience. The interior of the restaurant is a balance between modern elegance and casual comfort, with sleek wooden furnishings and soft lighting. The layout is spacious, providing a comfortable environment for both intimate dinners and group gatherings. The Food You can choose from an ala carte menu, or from a newly launched Chef’s Menu (S$98/6 courses or S$78/4 courses). I had the 6-course menu, and my meal started with the Chef’s Special Selection of Oysters, a uniquely dressed and distinct trio of plum-infused horseradish and shiso, passionfruit ponzu and Tsuyataro cucumber and cold pressed olive oil.
